Frequently Asked Question

Ball Pits, so what are they? Well it’s the obvious, it’s a pit full of balls! It’s always interesting to know all the behind the scenes of it all. The unknown needs to be known. In this week’s blog, we answer some of our frequently asked questions, so have a little read and learn something you wouldn’t have known before!
  1. How do you clean the balls?

Cleaning our balls is just as hard as you’d think it would be. I mean imagine having to clean 40,000 after an event! But of course, hygiene and safety come first! But we’ll let you in on a little secret, we have a little ball pit cleaning machine helper. We have a whole blog about this so if you want to know a little more head back to the blog section!

2. How do you transport the balls?

Well this all depends on the size of pit you choose! The bigger the pit the more balls you’d need. So say if you wanted to hire one of our baby pits, that would roughly be 20,000 balls. Now say if you want to hire one of our larger pits, well they hold up to 60,000 balls. So the size of the pit equals the size of the van we would use. We do tend to use our regular van man Dave who drives a Luton full of our balls straight to you!

3. Are ball pits safe?

The question of “Are ball pits safe?” is one we didn’t use to get asked often; that was until COVID. Since it first hit, we have worked tirelessly to clean and disinfect all of our equipment – our clients safety and the safety of the public is number one on our priorities list. This is also why we are taking extra measure to ensure your events run smoothly. Whether in a pandemic or not our balls have always remained safe and clean it’s just a case of following the safety rules!

 4. Can I pick what colour balls I have?

Whatever you want we’ve got it! The majority of our customers do enjoy our multicoloured choice of balls but if you have something special in mind we will always try to cater for you. Having a Christmas ball pit? Try some Green, Red and white balls! A party for all you barbie fans? All pink balls it is!

5. How do you count the balls?

Luckily for us we don’t have to count each individual ball. Our team at HQ have calculated the weight of 1000 balls in a single bag meaning that we can always keep track of how many balls we have and how many net bags we need to send to you with your pit. Our huge ball collection has now reached over 200,000, yes we are a little mad here :’)
