We may not be right for you if…
- Your budget is well below £700 and you need delivery far from Kent — transport makes small long-distance hires poor value.
- The attraction is mainly for children under three — our pits’ high sides and depth suit ages three and up.
- Your venue has no realistic access or clear floor space for the pit you want.
- An outdoor booking has no bad-weather backup — wind and rain can stop a pit operating safely.
- Nobody can provide light-touch supervision and you don’t want staff included.

What a standard hire includes
Standard bookings are a dry hire. You get the pit, the balls and the transport — delivered to your venue and collected afterwards — and your own team handles set-up, pack-down and light supervision on the day. It is more straightforward than it sounds: every dry hire comes with a step-by-step guide covering setup, safe operation, supervision and pack-down, and we talk it through with you before the event. Most people manage with two responsible adults. The balls are washed between every hire, so they arrive clean.
Everything else is quoted separately, so you only pay for what you actually want: our own crew to set up, pack down or supervise; brand-new balls instead of our washed stock; colours beyond the standard mix; printed balls; and bespoke enclosures built to your design. Delivery is charged per Luton van and covers both the outward journey and the return collection — one van carries up to 45,000 balls. Collecting yourself from our base in Whitstable, Kent is free.
Who we have built pits for
Since 2015 our ball pits have appeared on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Celebrity Juice, and we have worked with ITV, Nickelodeon, Tate Modern, adidas, ASOS, Facebook, giffgaff, Virgin Holidays and the University of Kent. Alongside them sit a great many weddings, birthdays, school fairs and office parties that never made it onto television — a fortieth in a marquee gets the same kit and the same crew as a broadcast set.
